A Word About Our Founder & MD
Meet Silja (pronounced Celia)
Silja has over 25 years of operational and business support experience across Europe, Africa and the Middle East spanning a range of sectors, including multinationals, family offices, non-profits, SMEs and start-ups.
One of her proudest accomplishments was co-founding the Topsy Foundation in South Africa – a non-profit organisation aimed at providing relief services to some of South Africa’s most under-resourced rural communities. After successfully running the organisation for 8 years, making a real difference in the lives of over 7,000 beneficiaries, it was time to put the succession plan into action and she is proud that Topsy is still going strong to this day!
Silja has been based in Dubai since 2008, a melting pot of many different cultures and a true testament to diversity and inclusivity.
Her German heritage demands exactitude meaning that dotting i’s and crossing t’s is second nature to her.
With a love of languages (she speaks 5) and an eagle eye for detail, she makes sure that any text is reader-friendly and error-free.
Silja’s personality strengths include a thoughtful and organised approach, reliability, honesty and integrity.
